How it all began

Eileen and Roland got to know each other at the grammar school in Olten. She was in the same year as Janine, Roland’s younger sister. It was probably not what you might call “love at first sight” because back then Eileen had a crash on one of Roland’s classmates (his name is known to the editor). Even if Roland helped to hook her up with his friend, it didn’t work. Instead, the both of them got closer and closer. On the 29 December 2000 they went out to the cinema Capitol in Olten. Finally, they fell in love during the film “Unbreakable”! The first time they really kissed was after the film in the legendary “Hammer Bar “. 

Ever since then the 29 December has been an important day for the bride and the bridegroom and has therefore been celebrated every year. On that very day – the 29 December 2014 – the much longed for proposal was finally made in the Hotel Palace in Lucerne. And it’s here, where bride and groom would like to raise their glasses to their wedding with their beloved ones.
