My father is from Niedergösgen like the whole Meier clan. After studying physics and completing his PhD, he provided Switzerland with electricity for many years as the head of the nuclear power plant in Niedergösgen. Now he’s enjoying his well-deserved retirement!
Ursula
My mother holds the family together. She tries to bring all family members together for dinner almost every week. This is probably the reason for our strong relationship. She worked as a photographer in the past and took pictures of weddings. But on our wedding, she will have a day off…
Alexandra
She's my older sister. She’s been married to Philippe for eight years and has set quite a standard in terms of having children. With their four kids (Elia, Nico, Noëlle and Enea) she has more than enough to do. There's one day a week when she still works as a teacher and where she can recover from the job as a mother.
Janine
She is my younger sister. She also has devoted her life to the teaching profession after graduation (English and German) and now she teaches at the upper grammar school in Olten. Her boyfriend Nic and she will walk down the aisle next year too!
Lukas
Luki is my "little" brother. Even if he is a good head taller than me, he will always remain – as the youngest – the baby of the family. Luki works as a computer scientist and he was a huge help to us when creating this website. "At this point again thank you very much!”
